I made this sweet little stocking cap for the adorable little owner of the cuddle moose. (That happy story is not mine to tell, but know that all's wonderful in that particular sector of the universe.) It's the 6–12 month size using this pattern purchased from Ravelry, and it was a delightful quick knit.

I also almost finished the matching mom size when I realized I had messed up one of the cables. So I frogged it to about halfway down and knit it back up – when I noticed that I had made a different mistake. Clearly it wasn't to be, or at least not right now. The unfinished object is currently in project jail while I decide whether to fix or frog it all the way back to the ball.

Cute hat though, huh? I mean, even just by itself without the gorgeous wee model.
