A cowl so nice I made it twice

I just love this pattern, the Brannock Cowl by Erineen Designs, which is available at a fair price on Ravelry. It’s simple but enjoyable to knit, and it knits up quick. I made these two cowls within a regular week where I was working and juggling all the usual stuff, but they don’t look like they’re something that would be labelled “quick knits.” I appreciate that, especially since they were both intended as gifts.

The teal version used 73 g of Bernat Super Value Solids in Teal Heather. I recorded the exact amount of yarn used so that I would know if I had enough of the black speckle yarn to make one out of that. As you can see, I did. I believe it’s Patons North America Classic Wool Worsted in Black tweed, but I’ve been knitting various projects with it for so long I’m not actually sure. Seriously, it’s magical. Good thing it’s versatile!

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got. Highly recommend!
